Week of April 11th- April17th
 

Wednesday April 14th- The group Green Brigade killed one of the four Italian hostages on Wednesday, that they took hostage to try and get Italy out of Iraq to prevent it from being a democracy. The hostage takers received an answer to their pull out of Iraq demand from Italian President Silvio Berlusconi which was that there is no way I will pullout of Iraq. A video was sent to Aljazeera TV saying that they killed the one and are ready to kill more. Count on the VRL News Center for more information as it comes out.

Tuesday April 13th- President Bush makes a speech to the public on Tuesday talking about where we are in Iraq but then shifted to 9/11 as the press started asking questions. This was the Presidents 3rd prime time announcement sense he has been in office. The update went over an hour and was covered on all main stream press stations in its entirety. In it Bush talked about how we will not pull out of Iraq and cant ever stop the global war on terrorism.

Monday April 12th- The heat of the campaign and how close it is between President Bush and Senator Kerry has led the RNC to push for charge with the 527 groups that have been putting Bush down on his economic policies and his US led war on Iraq. The 527 groups except unlimited donations and dont allow people to see who the donators are. The advertisements which are on in borderline states are supported by The Media Fund and dont clearly state Kerry for 2004, but is implied that change needs to take place. The FEC which takes complaints like this one decided not to do anything about the 527 groups like republicans wanted them to do.

Week of March 28th- April 3rd
 

Wednesday the 31st- Rebels ambush a SUV carrying four American contractors and kill the four men. The men who made the attacks, burned, tore up and mutilated the bodies of the men. After that they drug the men through the street and hung two of them on a bridge. The AP had video of the crimes, but no one has been able to show the footage due to it being so graphic. White House officials say that the best way to handle something like this is to continue what they have been doing, they also said that all these men were trying to do was help this country. Tuesday the 30th- Al Queadas chief operations man, told investigators that we had plans to hit L.A. Towers, and Chicago Towers next. Khalid Shaikh Mohammed told interrogators that plans to hit Library Tower in Los Angeles and the Sears Tower in Chicago soon after the September 11th attacks. They decided not to attack the buildings because of the administrations quick action after the attacks on the World Trade Centers and Pentagon.

Monday the 29th- US officials shut down an Iraqi news paper on Sunday. The paper was said to be extremely slanted and tell lies about US officials and supporters of the War on Iraq. The news paper named Al Hawza employed several of Iraq's journalists. The news paper closer made, some sources said, thousands of protesters march in the street. Some marched in the street saying no to bush, no to war. The paper is planned to be up and running in 60 days with a new staff. VRL News Center will keep you updated.

Sunday the 28th- Saturday presidential candidate John Kerry told media that the White House was making character accusations about Clarke instead of focussing on the main issues of the 9-11 panel. Clarke had a controversial testimony last week when he contradicted himself in front of the 9-11 panel. Kerry said, "I don't think people want questions about character; I think they want questions about our security to be answered". Kerry also said he thought Condoleezza Rice should testify in the public.

Republicans fired back at Democrats saying they were trying to politicize the 9-11 panel. Kerry also said he doesnt want to comment on the testimonys that took place last week.
